Section 2, Part 2: Practicing with Training Videos

This session will provide you with an opportunity to practice scoring some of the four minute training videos in the video library. You are strongly encouraged to use these videos to test your knowledge of the TPR items.

Arrows on the timeline indicate when specific behaviors occur during the teaching episode. You can turn the behaviors on and off by pressing the [Abc] button at the bottom of the screen.

To complete this portion of the training,

1. Go to www.tprcasenex.com.
2. Log in to your account.
3. Find the "Training Videos" link under Training and Information.
4. Print out multiple copies of the paper instrument.
5. Select a four minute training video (i.e., AP Calculus, Music History, Spanish Warm-up).
6. Watch one time through with the [Abc] behaviors off.
7. Mark interactive items while watching the video.
8. Reflect on the teaching episode and mark the reflective items.
9. Re-watch the video with the [Abc] behaviors on.
10. Check your work.
11. If you are working with peers, take some time to discuss your results.
12. Repeat with new video.
